Choosing Shoes For Your Wedding Day

Choosing the shoes you are going to wear on your wedding day is not an easy task. Of course, your shoes are a really important part of your outfit – second only to your dress. And as every girl knows, a great pair of shoes is the finishing touch to any outfit, so it’s especially important on your wedding day

These are a few of my favourites – shoes to compliment almost every style of wedding outfit.

Tea length Dress

A mini or a tea length dress is perfect for showing off a gorgeous pair of shoes. If your day is all about having fun, and you’ve been blessed with wonderful legs, then all you need is some faux tan, a pedicure and a pair of killer heels.

Full Length Column Style Dress

This style of dress is very elegant, and is often chosen by taller brides. A pair of open-toed, backless, high heeled shoes peeking out from the bottom of your dress as you walk, will give a very sexy look.Formal Affair A-line Dress For a very formal wedding, you may feel your shoes need to be a little more traditional. But that doesn’t have to mean boring. Start by matching the colour to your dress. If your dress is embellished with lace or pearls or beads add the same to your shoes for a pretty and more interesting look.

Full Skirt Ballgown

This type of dress allows you to wear almost any style of shoe, as the fullness of the skirt will normally cover them. Stiletto or kitten heels would be perfect, as would wedges, or ballerina pumps if comfort is one of your concerns.
